We are on the road again! Finally! My Dad and I were more than ready to get going. I’m a Traveling Cat after all. The humans did all their business in Canandaigua, NY and now they tell my bro and sis and I that we are “full-timers”, whatever that means. I hope it means that we travel and travel and travel. I am ready to see the world!

We started out this morning pretty early but hit some rough roads in western New York before reaching the interstate highway. Or maybe it was the surprise of hitting the road but we all had a bit of a stomach upset. I puked a hairball, my brother Fred lost his breakfast and Cassie foamed at the mouth for a good hour or so (the indignity of it al!). Mom took care of us and eventually we all settled down for the trip. Cassie got to sit next to Mom all the rest of the day and she got a bunch of extra pets.

We traveled south through New York into Pennsylvania and were almost out of that state when we ran into a big accident scene. There were cars and trucks stopped for miles and it took over 2 hours before we were going full speed again. We then traveled through Maryland and West Virginia and into Virginia where we stopped for the night at a Walmart Supercenter in Winchester. Okay, we’ve heard from others that stopping in a Walmart overnight is popular but we had never done it before. It’s called “dry camping” cause you’re not hooked up like in an RV resort. There are a bunch of other coaches near us so we got to see a couple dogs and some people. We are very tired, though, and need to go to bed.
