Hi everyone, Cassie here. We didn’t spend much time in Charleston and yesterday we took off in the morning for points south. I can always tell when we are going south cause the sunshine comes in the driver’s side of the bus. Barney sits in the sun behind Dad while he’s driving.

Well, anyway, we didn’t drive too long before we stopped at Walmart and Mom and Dad went in for a while to do some shopping. We cats all came out of our driving spots but we knew it wasn’t our final spot of the day. Soon we were back on the road again and we stopped on Hilton Head Island. We’ve never been here before and it’s beautiful! The Motorcoach Resort is an owner park so you get to pick your site. Well, Mom and Dad left us in the coach and went away with a nice man and they picked the spot they thought we would like best. (Aren’t they great!! Of course, I did demand a better spot just the other day!)

We then drove to the most terrific place. We are facing right on a lake and there are palm trees and other bushes and flowers all around us. There are birds and squirrels and I just love it here. I told my Mom right away how terrific this place is and I hope we stay here a long time. The weather is just perfect and all our windows are open and it’s spring tomorrow says Mom. We even saw some blue birds (the feathered kind, as well as the bus kind) when we got here yesterday!


At last, a parking spot with some real interest!
