Greetings everyone, Barney here. We are all tucked in to our new home here in Gulf Shores, Alabama. My brother and sister and I like it just fine here. There aren’t many birds nearby like we had in Texas but there is plenty of stuff to look at. We have people next door on each side and there are plenty of dogs being walked by our bus. The palm trees look funny - I guess they had all of their fronds cut off before being moved here to be planted. Mom and Dad have been checking out the scene in the towns of Foley and Orange Beach as well as going to Pensacola, Florida! (Florida, I am told, is only at the end of Orange Beach so it’s just minutes away.)

The humans have been eating lots of seafood - sometimes they even bring it home to cook and Cassie is really into the shrimp! Evidently, oysters are a big deal here. Dad doesn’t like them but Mom LOVES them and has had them on the half shell and fried, in sandwiches and in gumbo. She is looking forward to having more, too.

They walked the beach down here too the other day but it was a bit cold. Warmer weather is predicted. Luckily it’s been warm enough so they can open our bus windows everyday.
