Took a rather short trip today to our new home at the Buckhorn Lake RV Resort in the Texas Hill Country near Kerrville Texas. We were here by noon and have a pull-in spot overlooking  a pretty tree and a lovely creek. And there are birds!! All kinds of birds!! Fred, Barney and I are all in agreement - it’s a “3 paws up” place! And mom says we’ll be here almost a month. Terrific! We all spent the first couple hours on the front dash looking at the scenery and the birds. There are cardinals and titmice and goldfinchs and normal little sparrows. There are huge brown black birds too. I’m going to have to look them up in my bird book because I haven’t seen them before. The humans were laughing at us and they could tell we like it here.
