We all took a ride in the house today to San Antonio and the Iron Horse RV Repair Shop. Seems the AquaHot on our bus wasn’t working and it’s really important because it gives us heat and hot water. Now Barney, Fred and I don’t care about the hot water but we really like the heat and we know the hot water is important to mom and dad. There is a backup system on our Blue Bird that is all electric so we cats really didn’t notice a thing.

Well, we all drove down and when we got here it worked perfectly. Dad ordered an expensive replacement part and said the AquaHot will probably continue to work as long as we simply have that part in reserve. We are staying the night and then we are going back to Austin tomorrow. I had a bit of an upset stomach on the way down and did a bit of foaming at the mouth. It looked pretty funny, I guess. I think it’s because dad opened the blind in the bedroom where I was laying and I kept watching the world go by. That’s the first time the blind was up while we were moving and I’m going to remind him in the future to leave it down when we are underway.
